Another dog gone

My mum just told me that my old Chihuahua, Stacey, had to be put down yesterday. She had disappeared for 2 days, my Dad found her underneath their house with one of her legs broken and she wasn't in a good shape. they are not sure how she broke her leg, possible that the bones were brittle as she is 14 years old and would have been 15 next January. I got Stacey as a pup when I was 13, she was named after a character in the Baby-Sitters' Club book series that I was hooked on at the time.

I ended up training her to sit on my 4 wheel quadrunner motorbike that I used to ride around the property on, she used to love and would come running everytime she heard me start the bike up. Poor old girl, we knew it would happen soon as she is nearly fully blind and going deaf as well.

World Of Warcraft Expansion: Burning Crusade

I've finally decided to update after months of nothing. Things have been well. Not all that much has been happening, just the usual. I joined the staff at Xboxworld Australia as a forum moderator at the end of Marxh. that has been quite fun at times, I really ejoy helping out with things there

I'm still into gaming of course, in July I ended up selling a bunch of my older game consoles to get a Nintendo DS Lite. This little console is possibly the best thing I've bought after the Xbox 360. I bought Pokemon Diamond with it and I'm still hooked on playing that game, been having lots of fun with trading Pokemon and trying to chain shiny pokemon (rare different coloured pokemon).

It was my Birthday last Thursday, I turned 28, in 2 years I'll be 30 We had a little a little dinner celebration thing at my parent's house. I got a 1 GB MP3 player and $70 from my parents and WoW: The Burning Crusade Expansion pack from my brother and yeah, I'm playing WoW again :-p I did buy a Bday present to myself which I'll get next week, Two Worlds for the Xbox 360. I so can't wait to play it, especially the 8 player co-op on Live, it'll be like multiplayer Oblivion.

Alright, I'm going to try and update more frequently, until next time!

Oblivion Expansion Pack

Woohoo! The Oblivion Expansion pack was released onto the Xbox Live marketplace this morning I've got it downloading, I'm so hoping it finishes before 5 pm as that is when the Live servers are going down for maintenace for 14 hours. I'm going to finally update my Oblivion character stats on my Rykanna Xanga in a few minutes as the exp pack will no doubt level my character to 20 (she's 19 currently) and I'll need to write it all out again.

On a related topic, my brother, Scott got himself an Xbox 360 from Ebay last night. Cost him $700 for the Xbox, extra controller, charge kit, 14 games + 2 arcade games, 6 months of Live and about 2 years warranty. Awesome deal I reckon. He'll have LEGO Star Wars II, I'll be buying that off him He's hoping to sell the games he doesn't want to regain back some cash.

P.S. By the way if you haven't played Marvel Ultimate Alliance, gets your hands on it, this game rocks. I finally finished the single player game last night. Now all I have to do is do the co-op bit and all of the little extras to geyt the rest of the achievements.

Phantasy Star Universe

Yeah I know, no post for a long time. There isn't really much to say other than I've been doing the usual activities, gaming and mudding. I've bought some new games over the last few months, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Phantasy Star Universe and Star Trek Legacy. I rarely pay full price for games, usually no more than $60, I got both Legacy and Phantasy Star for $50 each on the Xboxworld trading forums. Without places like that and Ebay, I would not have the games I own.

About my last post, I had got a phone call minutes before I posted that, from my mother. She said that my dog, Mindy had been missing for about four days. We ended up going to all of my parent's neighbours and asking if they had seen her, called the pound and RSPCA, no sign of her  there either. We think she may have seen a snake and tried to play with it. I cried nearly every day for a week, I had so wanted her back, she was the first dog I got of my own at my place, best pet I've had here.

Even though I miss Mindy a lot, I've plans to get another Jack Russel in about 3 months I think. I found out from my cousin's fiance that their dog is due to have pure bred Jack Russel pups in about 2 month's time. It'll cost $300 for one so after this fortnight, I'll be putting money away for a female.

I want to mud but it's too stinking hot in this room right now. Lately I've been spending more time playing the 360 than on the PC, just too hot in here, plus was kind of sick of the PC after having to reinstall it 3 times last week. I think I'll grab something cool from the freezer then go pop Phantasy Star Universe into the 360 and play with my online character. I wasn't going to subscribe to the online version but after completely offline mode I wanted more. I'll only be signed up for a few months then I'll cancel.

More updates in the near future.

P.S. I know I gotta stop hermitting...
